Gearing Up For Curse of the Crimson Throne

This Friday our group is starting Paizo’s Curse of the Crimson Throne and we’ll be using the Pathfinder RPG. In a way it’s perfect timing because the Beta PDF will be released on Thursday so we’ll have one day to tweak the characters from the Alpha 3 release. So far our little adventuring party will consist of a dwarven paladin, human sorcerer, a bard (race to be announced) and a human cleric.
Normally, our group keeps rather detailed session summaries. But our D&D group has grown to sufficient size that we decided to split into two groups for this campaign. Since the Friday group is starting a couple months before the Sunday group, there won’t be any neat session summaries mainly because I’m just too damned lazy (er, I mean busy). But I will be posting thoughts and opinions of the Pathfinder Beta rules. I’m really hoping the Pathfinder rules end up being as good as the Alpha releases. I have big plans for that game. So stay tuned for that folks!
A second bit of news, no Gencon for this little geek. The money went to getting a new car but I will be supporting a local SF convention. Come one, come all to Armadillocon 30 if you just happen to be in the Austin TX area.
Oh yeah and WOTC is changing the GSL. I’ll worry about comments until I see what changes they make.
