It’s back to school time

This isn’t about old school vs new school. It’s about just plain real life old fashioned school. I admit that I don’t have kids and don’t want any. It’s that time of year I get psyched up to have a longer commute time to work thanks to all the extra traffic in the morning but as a gamer I take it as a special opportunity.
All of the discount stores are stocked up with cheap school and dorm room supplies. It’s like Gamer Christmas. Time to stock up on those standard supplies for the RPG table. Notebooks, paper, pencils, erasers and I may even pick up a new gaming backpack. Maybe a new deck of cards for Savage Worlds. Bulletin boards and dry erase boards of all sizes. I’ll just wander the aisles and see whatever inexpensive little things I can pick up.
With the economy in the tank and budget pretty much in the same place, it’s chance to save a few bucks.
