I spent yesterday attending panels and cruising the dealers’ room at Armdillocon yesterday. Normally, when I get home I feel refreshed and invigorated. You know all full of piss and vinegar. Ready to take on the world. Not so this year.
There was nothing wrong with con. Everything seemed normal. But I pretty much felt drain, tired, hungry and blah by the time the day was over. Blah is technical term by the way. Maybe it’s just that I’ve had so many ups and downs. Actually, more downs than ups over the last year that I’m just a bit tired.
This year looks like I’m just going to have to go about recharging my creative batteries in other fashion. We’ll see what happens. Now back to your regularly scheduled happy blogging.

I only hit one con-like event a year,, and since it involves a touch of drinking too, I tend to need a whole week to recover. If you’re only out for a day, well done sir.
