Bloody Mallory

I said things were going to be busy this week so here’s a movie review dug up from the archives. Enjoy. Don’t worry, folks. I’ll make it up to you.
I love bad movies, especially ones done well. Bloody Mallory is fits that bill. It has all the nifty bits. Action, Horror, Comedy, B Movie Camp, and some fine influences from anime. No really. First off, it’s a foreign film, French as a matter of fact. To really enjoy this movie, I suggest watching with the bad English dubbing. It really adds a new dimension of humor to it.
The movie itself centers around a paranormal commando unit lead by Mallory, a woman who axe murders her demon husband in self defense. She’s assisted by Vena Cava the transsexual weapons expert and Talking Tina the obligatory cute kid who happens to a mute telepath. This ecclectric crew is out to save the Pope who got kidnapped.
The best way to sum this film up is take one part Buffy, one part Evil Dead and one part anime.

My Recommendation: Buy it used or from the discount bin.
