I love it when I find a new nifty web comic and today I just found another one. This time it’s d20 Monkey. I really wish I had heard about this one sooner. This thing is right my alley: A dysfunctional group of gamers.
It’s nice to a gamer-centric web comic that is by somebody who obviously knows the hobby and geeks in general and to top that off it’s well drawn and written comic and consistently funny. I predict that this is going to be a favorite for us old analog gamer types. I think we’ve met a Brett in our time.
That’s not much more I can say and I’m not going to ruin any of the fun for you just head on over the site and check it out. So you can understand that comment about Brett.

I’m a big fan of Mediocre Films and Greg Benson ever since I discovered Retarded Policeman and this little clip continues the comic genius.

I’ve made it no secret that I really like JourneyQuest so I figured I do a little project and hopefully throw a little of help their way.
Here are few sound bites distilled down into MP3′s. Go ahead use them as a ring tone or whatever. Now if you’re coming through via the RPG Bloggers Network, you may be asking yourself, “What the hell does this have to do with gaming?” Well, first the subject matter but secondly a few fun sound bites can be a bit of fun during the game. Our group has had quite a few laughs with bits from Invader Xim, Dragon Age: Origins, Star Wars and Star Trek.
Depending on the response to this I might do an all Orcish set of sound bites and then maybe do some suggestions and/or requests. If you really like these little bits then just head on over to the JourneyQuest web site and show your support to those guys and help make Season 2 a reality.

Included are:
“I’m a bard. Bardic Immunity.”
“Blech. Orc.”
“I am far too brave to grant you mercy.”
“I am honor!”
“JourneyQuest. That’s terrible.”
“Killing equals honor.”
“Meat Henge. Really?”
“Not a zombie.”
“Onward!”
“Sod. Rot. Shag tits.”
“Sod the quest”
“Take me now you green skinned love stallion.”
“Well, I was too brave to spare the elderly.”
“Welcome to the temple of your doom. Welcome to the Temple of All Dooms.”
“Why does he smell like crying?”

Sorry for the quality of the pictures. My cellphone has a really crappy camera. But it’s nice to have fun during a game. Case in point, the The Great Beholder Hat. Note to self, start taking the regular camera to game sessions.

Because you just need a better stapler. Sort of Office/Office Space meets a D&D corporate world. Bit longer than my web clips but I think it’s worth it. Remember when it used to cost 100 GP to identify an item. They do.

This was a pretty big geeky hit last week and for those of you that missed it. It’s another music video and that is not kid or work safe. So you have been warned.
