I know most folks stop by here for table top games but I also know that this week is Gencon so I might be talking to empty space. But damn kids, Guild Wars 2 comes out at the end of the month and this one of the few electronic games that I am look forward to.
This game looks like it has a lot going for it. They’ve dumped the need for healers. Sounds like they’ve cleaned up the grind-o-matic questing that we’ve grown bored with other in MMO’s. And one thing that I think Areanet does really well. You buy the game and there’s no subscription. That’s even better. I’ve really like playing the first Guild Wars and it a lot things going for it that really fit my style of play. You see I’m one of those weirdos who will play an MMO and then solo all the time. Just too many douchey types out there on the net. The game is still fun and the game can still be social.
I can’t wait to get my grubby little fingers on this one. Of course that means that I’ll be unbathed and unavailable at the end of this month. For more info just head on over to the main Guild Wars 2 site.
