Playing What’s Next

I also do this. About half way through a campaign, I start thinking about what to play or run next.
Maybe it’s just part of sitting back and thinking about the cool stuff sitting on my shelves or daydreaming about what may be headed my way in the mail. It’s just the sort thing I do. I’d say our group is about a third of the way through the Dresden campaign and I’m not sure about Deadlands. I know folks are already talking about another Pathfinder run.
But there’s stuff sitting there beckoning me. I’ve been itching to do a heavily tweaked Swords & Wizardry game. Machinations of the Space Princess looks to be a damned awesome SciFi game. Plus I’m sure there will be some other little shiny bauble that will catch my attention before the actual time begins to discuss what gets played next.
I think I write a post like this about every six months or so. But heck, it’s that feeling I get about every six months or so. I look at the shelves and say to myself. Damn, I want to play that. So sorry for this seemingly stupid rant. But hey that happen sometimes too.
