So What’s Been Going On With Me?

Things are starting to get back to normal around here so I figured I owed to the folks who routinely stop by here a couple of explanations.
A month ago I quickly posted that they’d be a brief hiatus here. So here’s the low down. My mother passed away at the end of July. And being single and an only child that pretty much left everything on me. It’s been a real busy month to say the least.
The second part of this is that I decided to move my dad down here to Texas to live with me. He’s pushing a hard 80 and I couldn’t just leave him up in BFE Nebraska alone. I’ve torn my house a part and rearranged pretty much everything to make room. We’re still in the adjustment phase of getting through a normal day but it should work out.
And that’s what’s been happen. Thanks to everybody and like I’ve said things should slowly start to get to sort normalcy around here.
